Taste Paradise TQUAL Funding Ensures Sustainability
The TQUAL funding for Taste Paradise project ended on the 30th April, however the culmination of activities conducted over the past 3 months will ensure that the brand continues to be promoted and grow in awareness.
This will be achieved by the development of various marketing materials and tools, cross media advertising campaigns and a wide range of Food Events where the brand will be heavily promoted througout 2011.

Austropex Conference - 12 August 2011
Advance Cairns’ tropical expertise project supports and connects tropical specialists across ten industry groups including Aviation, Mining and Energy.
Known as Austropex, the project includes industry home pages, a data - base of tropical specialists, professional development workshops and industry networking events.
As part of Austropex’ vision to position Tropical North Queensland as the home of Australian Tropical Expertise, the inaugural Austropex Conference will be held on August 12, 2011. Read more
Advance Cairns Business Enterprise Centre
Hi,
During the last month the Advance Cairns BEC has been busy meeting with Small Business in the Cairns, Tablelands, Cassowary and Cook regions and assisting them with various business needs.
In the process, we have also been designing our Small Business Program’s that will commence in May and will incorporate a range of Small Business Advisory, Training & Networking Services.
Key to the success of these programs will be the involvement of local Business Partners who will share their experiences and knowledge with Small Business to encourage success.
We look forward to the release of these Programs and our ongoing work with Small Business.
